Creating BabyBam Collection
was a labor of love, born out of my strongest passions: my
two sons and sustaining the environment:
I have an Interior Design degree and worked within
the
commercial field for roughly 8 years. During that time I got married
and soon had my first child. At this point I decided to be a stay at
home mom. Within 6 months we relocated to Utah. I must say I have
always been a lover of the great outdoors, but the skiing, hiking,
camping, boating, etc. available in Utah really reinforced my love for
mother earth. Shortly after moving my baby was diagnosed with being
allergic to milk in all it's forms. Sensitive skin came with the
territory. Fast forward three years to my second child being born,
again with the milk allergy and sensitive skin. By this point not only
was I frustrated with the lack of "cute" and "pure" apparel on the
market for infants, but I was also beginning to get the design itch. So
one day during naptime, I began researching on the Internet for
eco-friendly fabrics. I came across bamboo and fell in love.
Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic and
anti-bacterial,
preventing odor, allergies and skin irritations. In addition,
bamboo is thermal regulating, an important factor in helping newborns
maintain a safe, healthy body temperature. Bamboo also wicks
away
moisture and has double the absorbency of cotton – an ideal
combination for delicate skin.
As the most eco-sustainable textile currently on
the
market, bamboo helps to keep baby’s footprint virtually
carbon-free. The combination of bamboo’s qualities and the
positive impact it has on the environment is what truly fueled my
passion to launch BabyBam Collection.
At this point dreams and inspiration joined forces
and BabyBam Collection became a reality!
Enjoy!

In keeping with our
values, all company manufacturing is compliant with Fair Trade
requirements. Additionally, a founding principle of the
company
is to limit the use of the Earth’s resources to a bare
minimum in
all business practices. To replace some of what we must use,
BabyBam Collection makes regular contributions to environmental groups
such as the Arbor Day Foundation and Sierra Club.
